My undergraduate degree is from Kutztown University of PA in Middle Level Education with concentrations in social studies and science. I have been teaching middle school for 8 years in Virginia. Over the years I have taught a combination of civics & economics, life science, world geography, and physical science. Currently I teach both life science and physical science.
In September of 2020 I decided to go back to school to finally get my Masters. As of the end of January 2021, I officially graduated with a M.Ed. in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University through their online competency based program.
As most teachers I have other sources of income. In addition to teaching I also have coached middle school basketball, high school soccer, and travel soccer. I have a side business making custom wooden signs through Etsy and sell resources through Teachers Pay Teachers.
